M Performance Parts for the New BMW 3 Series: Carbon for the M350 and the i3 M60.

The new BMW 3 Series has barely been unveiled, and BMW is already following up with Original Accessories. The first M Performance Parts are available for the two top models of the range, the BMW M350 xDrive (G50) and the electric BMW i3 M60 xDrive (NA0). The exciting part: rather than developing one kit for both drivetrains, BMW has given each model its own character.
Shared Basis, Different Signatures
The parts are designed to fit both the combustion model and the i3. In both cases, the M Sport package is the foundation. Some components are identical, such as the carbon mirror caps with subtly integrated M stripes and the carbon door sills. When it comes to the spoiler, front lip and diffuser, however, the two models go their separate ways.
The first photos show a white i3 M60 and an M350 in darker tones. Light paint finishes such as Alpine White or Mineral White make the dark carbon and black parts stand out particularly strongly.
BMW i3 M60 xDrive: The Bolder Look
With the electric i3 M60, BMW goes surprisingly far. The most striking part is the rear spoiler: rather than sitting flush on the boot lid, it stands slightly above it and features two large openings. The new front lip picks up the cutout motif again, so the front and rear visually match.
The i3 M60 package includes:
Carbon rear spoiler, raised from the boot lid, with two large openings
Front lip with matching cutouts
Carbon winglets at the corners of the front apron
Side skirt attachments
Rear diffuser insert
Carbon mirror caps with M stripes
Carbon door sills
M Performance wheels
One small contradiction remains: the i3 M60 gets a very elaborately designed diffuser, even though the electric car has no tailpipes for it to frame. In return, the look is distinctive and not simply an M350 without exhausts.
BMW M350 xDrive: Classic M Performance Style
The M350 follows a more familiar line. Its carbon rear spoiler has a cutout in the middle, flanked by two closed, raised surfaces. This is more reminiscent of the M Performance spoilers on earlier 3 Series generations and should appeal to anyone who finds the perforated i3 version too extreme. BMW also shows a more discreet spoiler lip for the boot lid on the M350.
The M350 package includes:
Carbon rear spoiler with centre cutout
Front lip in high-gloss black
Carbon winglets on the front apron
Red tow strap
Side skirt attachments
Carbon rear diffuser with cutouts for four tailpipes
Carbon tailpipe trims
Carbon mirror caps with M stripes
Carbon door sills
M Performance wheels in silver
The M350's unique selling point is its exhaust system. Since all other 3 Series and i3 variants do without visible tailpipes, the four-outlet diffuser and carbon tailpipe trims are reserved for the six-cylinder. On the front lip, however, BMW has economised: on the M350 it is made of black-painted plastic rather than carbon, with only the winglets in exposed carbon.
Prices and Availability
BMW has not yet announced prices or a specific delivery date. The M350 xDrive can be ordered now, while the i3 M60 xDrive will not arrive until 2027. Further details on the accessories programme, especially the wheel designs, are likely to follow in the coming weeks. We'll keep you posted.
With the first M Performance Parts for the new 3 Series, BMW shows a good feel for different target groups. The M350 gets a classic, coherent carbon package with four tailpipes as its highlight. The i3 M60 is bolder, and its raised, perforated spoiler gives it a look that clearly sets it apart from the combustion model. Which version do you prefer?
